• Account Information: When you create a Jelli account, we collect your email address, name, and any profile information you choose to provide.
• Saved Content: The links, videos, and other content you choose to save through the Jelli app, including metadata extracted by our AI (transcriptions, captions, locations, products, recipes, etc.).
• Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the app, including feature usage, search queries, and chat interactions with Jelli's AI.
• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
• Third-Party Content: When you save content from TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, or other platforms, we may process the publicly available data from those links to extract and organize information for you.

We use your information for the following purposes:

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Jelli service and AI features.
• To process, transcribe, and organize your saved content so you can search and interact with it.
• To send you app updates, security alerts, and support messages.
• To analyze usage patterns and improve our AI models (using aggregated, anonymized data only).
• To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest, secure cloud infrastructure, and regular security audits. Access to your data is restricted to authorized personnel only. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Jelli uses AI to process your saved content (transcribing videos, extracting captions, identifying places and products). Your individual saved content and chat conversations are not used to train third-party AI models. Any AI improvements we make use only aggregated, anonymized data. We do not sell your data to AI companies or advertisers.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the service. You can delete individual saved items at any time. If you delete your account, we will permanently remove your personal information and saved content from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Jelli allows you to save content from third-party platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, Safari, etc.). When you save content, you are also subject to those platforms' respective privacy policies and terms. Jelli does not control how those platforms handle your data.
